TRAINING & SKILL DEVELOPMENT SUBCOMMITEE
The MRA training and skills development is the unit that is responsible for programs that involve training, volunteers and module preparation. Every subcommittee under the MRA will report and seek advise from the training and development unit if there are any programmes that require training and involve volunteers.
Various activities and programmes in the form of trainingi has been conducted even if it is under a different subcommittee such as induction programmes, medical volunteer workshops, basic humanitarian aid training, training for the disabled, visually impaired, hearing impaired and physical disabilities, field medical training and other. Training programmes initiated by the MRA uniquely combines various elements in its programs, with an emphasis placed on the education of volunteers.
It not only provides training to become an expert and knowledgeable volunteer or field agent, but also how to cultivate a sense of responsibility, integrity, confidence, tenacity, creativity, a sense of leadership and instilling a sincere sense of maturity in the volunteer.
