Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) wishes a grief on accidents involving Dr. Zafri Ismadi Bin Mohd Anis, Medical Director of MRA, who is also a pediatrician, Sultan Ahmad Shah Hospital (HoSHAS), Temerloh, Pahang. The incident occurred at the East Coast Expressway near Bentong on 14th June 2018 at 7 pm.Dr. Zafri was on his way back home to his home in Bangi after completing his duties at Temerloh Hospital. During the incident, his vehicle collapsed after trying to avoid being hit by a truck. He suffered from the right leg fracture and the left leg fracture. He also suffered stage 4 spleen injuries and injuries to the lungs.Dr. Zafri is currently being treated at the Intensive Care Ward, HOSHAS, Temerloh using a respiratory machine. Surgery to remove the spleen and fix the iron on his leg was successful.Dr. Zafri is an active and committed child specialist in humanitarian relief work. As a Medical Director of MRA, he often participates in various domestic and international missions with MRA.gency June 17, 2018.
Most recently, he was in the Field Hospital Malaysia, at Cox Bazar, Bangladesh organized by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) to treat Rohingya refugees there.
MRA appealed to all Malaysians to pray that Dr. Zafri should heal and return to serve the religion, race, and nation.
